verfügte über ein texterkennungssystem, computer 2 über ein spracherkennungssystem. der eingespeiste text – auszüge aus norbert wieners theorie zur kybernetik von 1948 – wurde vom computer 1 vorgetragen und vom computer 2 verschriftlicht. computer 1 las diesen text erneut und gab ihn akustisch wieder etc. dieser im digitalen raum laufende transferprozess von akustischer in visuelle und die darauffolgende transformation der visuellen information in die akustische usw. war an die interaktion im realen raum gebunden. durch akustische impulse im raum, durch erschütterungen des raumes etc. griff die realität des raumes in diesen transformationsprozess ein. im laufe dieser prozesse wurden die akustischen und die visuellen ebenen zunehmend voneinander entfremdet, bis es gegen ende der ausstellung zu einer völligen auflösung der information kam.

the installation consisted of two computers and two video projectors. computer 1 had a text recognition system, computer 2 had a speech recognition system. the text fed in – excerpts from norbert wiener’s 1948 theory of cybernetics – were recited by computer 1 and written down by computer 2. Computer 1 read this text again and again converted it acoustically etc. this transfer process operating in digital space of the acoustic into visual and the subsequent transformation of visual information into acoustic etc. was linked to interaction in real space. through acoustic impulses in space, vibrations of the space, etc. reality intervened in this transformation process. over the course of these processes the acoustic and visual levels became increasingly alienated from one another, until towards the end of the exhibition this culminated in a complete liquidation of information.
